I may update this later, but this is what I decided on for Roy's family tree. Some facts to know:

Chris' birthday is February 1, 1885, and Aaron's birthday is June 7, 1857.

Aaron and Emilia eloped instead of having a full wedding. No, the Mustangs were not happy about it. In fact, they were not happy about the relationship at all. They were hoping to strengthen the family name in Amestris, and marrying someone who just immigrated from Creta didn't work well for that.

All of Emilia's family lives in Creta. She's the one who decided to move to Amestris. Her mother, Ada, supported this endeavor.

Speaking of Ada, she was a twin who kept her maiden name when she married. Juan, her husband, was more than happy to support this. His name before he married was Morales. Ada is still alive and well in Creta along with her two other daughters, Dora and Camila. She's just a bit of a spitfire.

At the top of the Merlo family tree, one will see Herberto and María. Her maiden name is Valenzuela.

On the Mustang side, Josepe goes by Joseph to fit into Amestrian society. They were the ones to immigrate to the country, and they did so before Chris was born.

Nora's maiden name is Contreras. She died after Josepe did, who succumbed to complications from injuries he gained in military service in Creta.

As mentioned in my timeline post and my post about the Mustang family history, Aaron and Emilia died in a skirmish between Amestris and Creta near Wellesley. Both posts will be updated soon to reflect the date I decided on for that: August 30, 1887.

If Emilia had her way, she would have named Roy Rey after her mother's twin who died due to infighting in Creta. Aaron went his parents' route and decided he wanted his son to fit in more in Amestris.

Aaron was 5'10'' while Emilia was 5'3''.

Roy inherited more of Emilia's traits: straighter hair, olive complexion, facial structure. Really, the key thing he inherited from Aaron was his intense dark eyes. The Mustangs generally had darker brown eyes and curlier/wavy hair while the Merlo family generally had lighter brown eyes and straighter hair.

Summary:

The story takes place in the fictional world of Remnant, composed of four kingdoms (Vale, Mistral, Atlas and Vacuo), that are invaded by malevolent monsters known as the "Creatures of Grimm".[23] Prior to the events of the series, the world was overseen by two opposing deities, the God of Light and the God of Darkness. Humanity was obliterated by the gods, due to the actions of Salem, a vengeful woman cursed with immortality for trying to manipulate them into reviving her beloved Ozma. The discovery of the element, Dust, triggered a technological and industrial revolution for humanity. The deity brothers themselves were born in the Ever After, a world that is the setting of the fairy tale The Girl Who Fell Through the World. They were created by the world's Great Tree to help it make the Ever After, with their first creations being the Curious Cat and the Jabberwalker, the brothers' differences and arguments forced the Tree to send them out of the Ever After, where they could create and experiment until they understand the true nature of balance, eventually leading to the creation of Remnant. The Curious Cat wished to leave the Ever After with Alyx, the main character of the story, and learn why their creators left, but she decided to stay behind and make up for the damage she had caused, breaking the Cat's heart and driving them to insanity who killed Alyx, with her brother Lewis returning to Remnant and telling the story as he wished it had happen.

In the present day, having formed a cabal to guard their world's secrets, one of Ozma's incarnations, Ozpin, establishes academies in the four kingdoms of Remnant to train Huntsmen and Huntresses against the Grimm, with each academies concealing one of the relics. The series focuses on four girls attending Beacon Academy in the kingdom of Vale: Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long. Together, they form Team RWBY ("ruby").[17][24] With their friends Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos and Lie Ren forming their own team, JNPR ("juniper"). Ruby becomes the team leader and promises her friends to keep running their team. Blake reveals herself as a cat Faunus (a human possessing animal traits) and resigns from working with the White Fang organization. Cinder Fall, Roman Torchwick along with his assistant Neopolitan and the White Fang led by Adam Taurus, invade Beacon Academy. Roman is killed in the chaos. Yang loses her arm after seeing a conflict between Blake and Adam. Cinder becomes the Fall Maiden, and kills Ozpin and Pyrrha. Ruby defeats Cinder with her Silver eyes, forcing her and her minions to retreat.

Aaron Resendez| One Elementary Schools Career Day Will Make You Wish You Were a Kid Again!

Shared by Aaron Resendez MCFARLAND — The second annual Career Day at Kern Avenue Elementary is not your average school event. With local community members sharing insights and advice about their professions, students in fourth through sixth grade are discovering that the possibilities are endless when it comes to their future career paths. U.S. Congressman David Valadao joined area experts on April 21 from a variety of professions, including Matt Clark, an attorney at Chain Cohn Clark, Diana Valenzuela, an engineer, Victor Oropeza, a business owner, and barber, Dr. Isaac Sanchez, a family practice physician in Wasco, Travis Bibee, a Wind Wolves Preserve Ranger. The group also included firefighters from Fire Station 33, U.S. Army personnel, and representatives from California State University Bakersfield and Bakersfield College. The experts talked about their own experiences and gave the young students insightful advice on how to follow their passions. The students were able to interact with the guests, ask questions, and get a glimpse into the real world of different careers. They were able to explore various options and learned that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to choosing a career path. “This event was amazing,” said Megan Johnson, the school counselor who organized the Career Day. “Our students were so engaged and inspired. They were able to see the many possibilities that exist beyond the classroom and I think it opened their eyes to what their future could hold.” “Kern Avenue Elementary’s Career Day is a prime example of how schools and communities can work together,” said Mayela Bujanda-Medina, principal of the school. “We get to provide students with hands-on experiences that empower and inspire them.” But that’s not all that McFarland USD has to offer. In addition to its regular curriculum, the district has several special programs that help students explore their interests and prepare for their futures. For example, McFarland High School has a globally-ranked robotics program, a specialized agriculture business program, dual enrollment opportunities in partnership with Bakersfield College, a variety of art programs, and career technical education (CTE) programs. McFarland USD is committed to providing its students with the education and resources they need to succeed.
